Rachel is an experienced bid manager and writer with over 22 years’ experience contributing to bid strategies, implementing bid processes, project managing and content writing to a wide variety of clients ranging from small private companies to large government departments.
With over 13 years working at some of New Zealand’s largest IT companies, Rachel has managed bids and bid teams for medium to large strategic tenders for public and private sector entities in New Zealand and the UK, as well as remotely managing bids in Australia and North America.
She has been responsible for writing hundreds of bids, working with bid teams to agree on sales strategies, win themes, pulling together proposal structures as well as conducting kick-off meetings, risk workshops and documenting outcomes of solution storyboards among other vital activities within the bid lifecycle.
Rachel excels in understanding and translating RFP requirements to ensure submissions meet the needs of tender evaluators – and brings a real eye for detail. Her organisation and communication skills are exemplary, and she establishes enduring relationships based on trust and on delivering the outcomes to which she commits.
Rachel also brings deep experience in implementing bid processes into smaller organisations, researching the client and competition, brainstorming challenges and is a committed individual whose passion for delivering high-quality proposals shows her determination to produce outstanding results every time.
