With his extensive end-to-end procurement experience gained through working at high-profile corporates such as APN News & Media, ASB Bank, Fonterra, Gough Group, and Goodman Fielder, Mike knows first-hand what makes a winning bid to tailor successful client outcomes.
Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail have been honed through Mike’s many recommendations and presentation papers to the board and senior executives. He is passionate about delivering excellence in all aspects of his work – and highly skilled in organising and managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
One of Mike’s key strengths is the ability to develop compelling narratives that highlight client capabilities and differentiate them from competitors to persuade evaluators effectively. He is adaptable and can flex his writing style and format based on client requirements and proposal types.
Outside of Plan A, Mike is passionate about his lifelong love of athletics. He is an accomplished coach to multiple New Zealand champions and manages a squad of 40 athletes. He is also President of the largest athletics club in New Zealand, Pakuranga, and contributes to a team of leaders that is driving community engagement, outstanding membership, and competitive results.
